FRANKLIN SPRING, Ga. – The King University women's tennis team dropped a Conference Carolinas dual at Emmanuel College on Friday afternoon. Emmanuel took the doubles point and swept singles for the 7-0 victory.

HOW HAPPENED
- The Lions took the top two doubles flights 6-1 and the third flight 6-0 to take the doubles point.
- Lauren Smorgonsky nearly came back to defeat Marta Rozadoz at No. 3 singles. After dropping the first set 6-1, Smorgonsky won the second set 6-3.
- However, Rozadoz won the final set 10-5 to take the match.
- Vanessa Francois nearly came up with a win at No. 2 singles, but fell to Pearllan Cipriano 7-6, 6-3.
- The Lions won the final four singles matches to take the dual 7-0.
