King has 38 named academic All-Conference Carolinas

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Conference Carolinas announced their spring academic all-conference honorees and 38 King University student-athletes were recognized.

Hunter Barbour, Nick Carroll, Trader Flora, Stephen Henderson, Nathan Jaye, Bennett McCann and Rob Sari were recognized from the baseball team.

Members of the softball team that are recognized were Raven Allender, Hattie Campbell, Casey Gilbert, Becca Gold, Emma Hughes, Leslie Odom, Danielle Parks, and Azlee Sells.

The men's golf team had four members honored, Chad Couch, Matthew Dalrymple, Noah Harkness and Miles Ruff while Morgan Powers of the women's golf team earned honors.

On the track, Brandon Bejarano, Kyle Hart, Kade McDonald, TJ McMurray and Braidon Miller earned recognition on the men's team while Kaitlin Rivera earned honors from the women's team.

From the men's tennis team, Nathan Snow, Jorge Rojas and Sebastian Lieflaender earned the distinction while Isla Bell and Morgan Buchanan of the women's team earned recognition.

The Tornado men's volleyball team had seven student-athletes honored, JT Deppe, Leo de Quadros, Douglas Florencio, Dante Jennings, Sean Kohlhase, Mason McCrury and Jordan Tornow.

The Conference Carolinas Spring Academic All-Conference teams consist of junior and senior student-athletes in the conference who have competed in a conference-sponsored sport and maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale in all work completed at their member institution.

The GPA is calculated based on the cumulative averages of the student-athletes through the previous semester and each student-athlete must have attended their member institution for at least one academic year.
