BRISTOL, Tenn. – Last fall the King University men’s soccer team completed phase one of upgrades to their locker room, thanks to the generous support of alumni from the 1987 team. Phase one upgrades included remodeling the space to create three distinct social, dressing and meeting spaces, as well as storage racks for shoes.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – Two King University teams were honored by Conference Carolinas when they announced their Messick Awards for Sportsmanship. The women’s cross country and men’s soccer team both earned sportsmanship awards from the league.

DUE WEST, S.C. – The King University men’s soccer team took the lead early on Saturday at Erskine College. However, the Flying Fleet scored late in the first half to even the score, before netting two goals in the second half to take the match 3-1.

King evened the score early in the second half after Ben Delisle struck back with a goal, but the Tornado couldn't stop the Crusaders from scoring a pair of goals later in the half.
WILSON, N.C. – The King University men's soccer team fell 3-1 against Barton College on the road on Saturday afternoon. King evened the score in the first half, but couldn't overcome a pair of second-half goals from the Bulldogs.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's soccer team was honored by the United Soccer Coaches on Thursday when the association announced their Team Academic Award winners. The Tornado earned the award for the fifth straight year.
RALEIGH, N.C. – The King University men’s soccer team held the advantage for the majority of the contest on Tuesday at Shaw University. The Bears made a late run to take the lead, but Ben Delisle answered to even the score for the Tornado and send the game to overtime. Neither team was able to score in either extra session as the contest ended in a 3-3 draw.

MARS HILL, N.C. – For the third time in as many games, the King University played a one-goal game, and their second straight contest that went to overtime. Callum Davidson scored his first career goal to even the score in the second half and send the game to overtime. However, the Lions scored on a free kick in the 95th minute to take the victory.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's soccer team opened their home schedule against USC Aiken and after a hard fought battle between both teams, the Tornado fell to the Pacers 1-0. Both teams remained scoreless in 90 minutes of play, but USC Aiken found the back of the net midway through the extra session to defeat the Tornado.
ATHENS, W.Va. – The King University men’s soccer team opened the season on the road with a solid effort at Concord University on Thursday afternoon. Looking at the box score, the Tornado seemed to outplay the Mountain Lions, however, Concord found the back of the net in the second half to take the contest 1-0.
BRISTOL, Tenn. - The King University men's' soccer team is coming off one of the most successful seasons in recent memory, advancing to the Conference Carolinas Men's Soccer Championship semifinals. Head coach Richie Rose returns the majority of the offense and his leader on defense as the Tornado look to advance further in the postseason in 2019.
