King earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University men's soccer team was honored by the United Soccer Coaches on Thursday when the association announced their Team Academic Award winners. The Tornado earned the award for the fifth straight year.

To qualify for the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, a team needs to have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. King was one of 344 men's teams across the country and one of four Conference Carolinas member schools to earn the distinction.

Under the tutelage of Richie Rose, the Tornado posted a team GPA 3.25, earning the USC Team Academic Award for the fifth time in program history.
