BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the first time in four years, the King University men's basketball team is ranked in a national poll. The Tornado are ranked 25th in the latest D2SIDA national poll after receiving votes each of the previous two weeks.
King is 19-6 on the season and the Tornado lead Conference Carolinas with a mark of 13-4 in league play. The Tornado have been led all season by Jordan Floyd who leads NCAA Division II in scoring with an average of 31.4 points per game.
The Tornado were last ranked in the D2SIDA poll on March 8, 2016. That week King was ranked 18th and it was the third straight week the Tornado were ranked.
King has three games remaining on their schedule, starting with their final home game of the regular season on Wednesday night when they take on Erskine College at 7:30 p.m. in the Student Center Complex.
