Edwards chosen to lead King cheer and dance programs
BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University director of athletics, David Hicks announced the hire of Mary Edwards as cheerleading and dance coach, effective September 12. Edwards replaces Debbie Neilson, who resigned at the end of August.

Cheer and dance lead tumbling classes at church camp
BRISTOL, Tenn. – Last week the King University cheerleading and dance teams was privileged to work with Celebration Church as they hosted their annual Rise Up children’s camp. The camp provides children with several different class options including tumbling, drama, art, guitar, piano, community service, hip hop, science, etc., incorporating God’s word and love into every session.

Dance to hold tryouts later this week
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University dance team is looking to round out their squad for the upcoming season, and they are holding tryouts later this week. The tryouts will be held in the Student Center Complex on October 23 at 4:30 p.m.

Moran chosen to lead King dance
BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University Director of Athletics, David Hicks announced the hire of 2011 graduate Nora Beth Moran to lead the dance program. With 11 years of cheer and dance experience, and is currently the choreographer for the King Theatre department.
