BRISTOL, Tenn. – Following the completion of the year, Conference Carolinas announced their All-Support team. Tornado baseball senior Nick Carroll was recognized.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – Conference Carolinas announced their spring Elite 23 Award winners on Thursday, and three Tornado were recognized. Mason McCrury (men’s volleyball), Sebastian Lieflaender (men’s tennis) and Trader Flora (baseball) all won awards for their respective sports.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University baseball season was cut short due to the national pandemic of COVID-19. Conference Carolinas announced their all-conference team, comprised of seniors from each member school as the Tornado had 11 seniors named to the team.
WISE, Va. – The King University baseball team dropped a see-saw affair on Wednesday afternoon at UVa-Wise. Each time one team took the lead, the other would come back and even the score or regain the advantage. King evened the score with a run in the eight, but the Cavaliers scored a run in the ninth to take the game 10-9.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. – The King University baseball team went on the road to take on Milligan College for their fourth game in three days. Milligan took the lead early and used a pair of big innings to take the game 9-0.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University baseball won their third straight Conference Carolinas series to start the season, defeating Emmanuel College 2-1 on a walk-off single from David Carnicella in the eighth inning. The Lions came back to take game two 14-4 for the doubleheader split.

The Tornado scored seven runs in the final two innings to send the game to extra innings before scoring three runs in the 10th to take the game 12-9.

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Playing their fourth game in three days on the road, the King University baseball team nearly came away with a win at Tusculum University. The Tornado held the lead in the early going, but a big Tusculum inning late was too much to overcome as the Pioneers took the game 8-7.

HARROGATE, Tenn. – The King University baseball team jumped ahead of Lincoln Memorial University early, but the Railsplitters came storming back. Lincoln Memorial scored in nearly every inning to top the Tornado 18-9.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University baseball team went 4-0 last week, and on Tuesday the Tornado swept the Conference Carolinas Player and Pitcher of the Week awards. Erik Calderon Jr. garnered pitcher of the week honors after posting two saves while Bennett McCann hit .625 last week to earn player of the week honors.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University baseball team split a doubleheader with Lindsey Wilson College on Sunday afternoon. The Tornado offense was shut down in game one, falling 5-0 before Rob Sari and Braden White helped lead King to a 5-1 win in game two.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University baseball team played their first home game of the season on Saturday afternoon, defeating Lindsey Wilson College 3-2. The Tornado jumped ahead with two runs in the seventh inning as Brayden Cooney and Austin Meyer led the charge going 2-for-4 on the day.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University baseball game against UVa-Wise that was postponed on Wednesday has been rescheduled for 2:00 p.m. on February 18. With that, the Tornado moved their game scheduled for that day against Milligan College to March 31 at 3:30 p.m.
