Kincaid selected NCATA All-Academic Team, 10 earn NCATA Academic Honor Roll
BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the second straight season, the King University acrobatics & tumbling team had an individual earn National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA) All-Academic honors. Olivia Kincaid garnered that honor this season when the NCATA announced their All-Academic Team on Monday. The NCATA also announced their academic honor roll as 10 Tornado garnered recognition.

Brown, Kincaid, Tackett named All-Conference Carolinas
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University acrobatics & tumbling season was cut short due to the national pandemic of COVID-19. Conference Carolinas announced their all-conference team, comprised of seniors from each member school as the Tornado had three seniors named to the team.

King tops BAC to start season 2-0
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The ninth-ranked King University acrobatics & tumbling team moved to 2-0 on the season with a win over Belmont Abbey College on Saturday night. The Tornado grabbed a sizable lead after the compulsory event as King went on to take the meet 261.850-240.300.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Mattie Brown helped the King University acrobatics & tumbling team to a season-opening win over Limestone College, and earned the Conference Carolinas Acrobatics & Tumbling Biweekly Athlete of the Week award for her performance.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Following a season-opening win, two members of the King University acrobatics & tumbling team were recognized by the National Collegiate Acrobatics & Tumbling Association (NCATA). Mattie Brown and Kharissa Norvell were both recognized as honorable mention player of the week and freshman of the week.

King defeats Limestone in season opener
BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University acrobatics and tumbling team opened the season in impressive fashion on Friday night as the Tornado defeated Limestone College. King gain separation in the tumbling and toss events as they went on to the 263.795-257.245 victory.
