Five nationally-ranked teams, including No. 18 King, help make up the field of 11 teams in the Super Region Two Championships. Those teams include No. 6 Central Oklahoma, No. 10 Ashland (Ohio), No. 13 Findlay (Ohio), No. 15 Limestone (S.C.), and King (Tenn.). Filling out the rest of the competing teams are Belmont Abbey (N.C.), Central Missouri, Lake Erie (Ohio), Ouachita Baptist (Ark.), Tiffin (Ohio) and Truman State (Mo.).
The tournament opens at 12:00 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 25) with championship first round and quarterfinal action and resumes at 4:00 p.m. with two rounds of consolation matches. Wrestlers are competing for a berth in the NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships, set for March 9-10 in Pueblo, Colorado. The top-four placers at each of the 10 weights -- 40 in all -- advance to the national tournament. Each region qualifies 40 individuals to give the national tournament a 160-wrestler field, with 16 competitors at each weight vying for All-America honors and an individual national championship.
