Zeiter shoots career low, King finish 6th in King Invite

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University women's golf team were in action again on day two of the King Invitational with a combined score of 320 on the day and a total of 654 in the tournament. Roxane Nataf led the way for the Tornado with a score of 75 and Shelby Zeiter carded a career-low 79.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Nataf led the way for the Tornado with an overall score of 155 in the tournament placing 11th.
  • Zeiter had a career day on day two carding a career-low 79 and finishing the tournament with a score of 166.
  • Sasha Gardiner and Morgan Powers weren't far behind with Gardiner shooting 166 in the tournament and Powers carding a 171 respectively.  
  • Autumn Bergendahl finished with a score of 90 on day two and a final score of 177 in the tournament.

FOR THE FOES

  • Winning the King Invite for the third straight year was Carson-Newman with a combined score of 597.
  • The Individual Champion was Maeve Cummins who shot a 146 in the tournament.
