Tornado in 9th entering final round of Conference Carolinas Championship

SNOW HILL, N.C. – The King University women's golf team carded a 347 in the second round of the Conference Carolinas Championship, and ended the day in ninth place with a tournament total of 675. Samantha Taylor led the Tornado in the second round and Nicola Robertson owns King's tournament low through two rounds.

  • Taylor shot an 84 in the second round, giving her a tournament total of 167.
  • Following her second round of 88, Robertson is in 22nd place with a stroke total of 163.
  • Roxane Nataf isn't far behind Taylor, shooting an 87 in the second round for a tournament total of 169.
  • Autumn Bergendahl and Shelby Zeiter rounded out the team with scores of 88 and 91, respectively. Bergendahl has a tournament total of 178 while Zeiter is at 179.


  • Limestone College leads the tournament with a tournament score of 608 after their second round of 305.
  • Erskine College is second at 631 while Barton College is third at 634 and North Greenville University sits in fourth with a score of 636.
  • Victoria Ross is the individual leader with a score of 145 following a second round of 75.
  • Savannah Hallman of North Greenville is in second place at 148.


  • The final round is scheduled for Tuesday at Cutter Cree Golf Course in Snow Hill, N.C.
