Softball Announces Time Change for St. Andrews Series
BRISTOL, Tenn. – King Lady Tornado Softball has announced a time change for Tuesday afternoon doubleheader with the St. Andrews Presbyterian College Black Knights. The team will now take the field at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the King College Softball Complex, on April 17.
The doubleheader with the Black Knights (8-42, 2-16) will be the final two games of the regular season for the Lady Tornado and in the entire conference. St. Andrews rides into Bristol on a 13-game losing streak while King enters having split with Tusculum College on Sunday. King (28-17, 11-9) has sealed its placed in the 2012 Conference Carolinas Tournament and are a lock for the sixth seed (by conference winning percentage). They will play three-seed Queens University of Charlotte in the opening round, set to begin April 20. The tournament will be hosted by Coker College (Hartsville, S.C.) at Byerly Park.
