BRISTOL, Tenn. – For the second consecutive year, King University's Tanner Cook has earned All-Region honors from the United State Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Cook led the men's cross country team at the NCAA Southeast Regional to earn the recognition.
The junior covered the 10k distance in a time of 33:27.2 to finish 15th. The meet was run in a wet Wingate, N.C. where the course was very wet. On the year, Cook turned in three top 20 performances and finished eighth at the Conference Carolinas Championship, earning second team all-conference accolades.
A season ago, Cook earned All-Region honors after finishing 11th at the NCAA Southeast Regional.
