BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University has opened their newly remolded esports Arena. The arena is housed on the lower level of Bristol Hall, the oldest building on campus. The arena will house both training and matches for both esports games League of Legends and Overwatch.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University recently announced esports as the newest addition to the athletic department. With the addition of this new sport, King will join the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) as the newest member of the nationally recognized organization.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – King University, who has long been a pioneer and innovative leader in the field of athletics, announced its newest sport on Wednesday, esports, joining over 70 institutions nationwide who offer scholarships for student-athletes to compete at the intercollegiate level. King is the first school in the state of Tennessee to offer esports as a varsity program.
BRISTOL, Tenn. – On Wednesday, King University Director of Athletics David Hicks announced the addition of esports, along with the person that will be leading the program. At the press conference, Micah Ridley was announced as the director of esports.
