HARROGATE, Tenn. – The King University baseball team fell behind Lincoln Memorial University early on Wednesday afternoon and couldn’t recover. The Railsplitters took the final midweek game from the Tornado 10-6.
MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – The King University baseball team dropped a pair of tight games at the University of Mount Olive. The Tornado fell in game one 3-0 before dropping game two 8-7.

The Tornado took game one 4-3, but fell in game two 9-7. The rubber match to decide the weekend series winner will be played tomorrow morning at 10:00 am.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – The King University took a pair of nonconference victories from Kentucky Christian University on Tuesday afternoon. Scott Spradlin tossed a complete game, leading King to a 4-0 victory in game one before the offense led the Tornado to a 7-1 game two victory.

The Tornado have also canceled their doubleheader on Monday with Kentucky Christian University. The teams will play a doubleheader on Tuesday in Bristol. King has also rescheduled their earlier postponed game with Mars Hill University for Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. at Mars Hill.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Wednesday’s baseball game for King University at UVa-Wise has been postponed and weekend series against Belmont Abbey College altered. The Tornado will face the Crusaders in a doubleheader on Friday starting at 1:00 p.m., and a reschedule date for the game against UVa-Wise has not been announced at this time.

TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The King University baseball team closed their series at 25th-ranked North Greenville University with a pair of tough defeats on Saturday afternoon. North Greenville took game one 3-1 before winning game two 6-3.

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – In a contest against a regional rival, the King University baseball team came away with a well-earned victory at Tusculum College on Tuesday. The Tornado held the lead for the majority of the contest, but trailed going to the ninth inning. In the final frame, King posted five runs on six hits to take the game 8-5.
CENTRAL, S.C.. – The King University baseball team won their third Conference Carolinas series to start the season when they took the rubber game at Southern Wesleyan University on Saturday. The Tornado offense came alive, posting 10 runs in the fifth inning of their 19-8 victory over the Warriors.

The Warriors took game one 8-4, but the Tornado bats got going in game two as they recorded 14 hits and King rally to take the second contest 11-3.

Leading for the majority of the game, King came back in the final two innings as Kevin Barbato ripped a walk-off home run, giving the Tornado the 7-5 victory.
